Rob Clements
President
Rob Clements is a founding member and President of Northern Summit Technology. His strategic vision for the company has driven continued success and a growth rate of over 30% for three consecutive years. Rob is an engineer at heart and still likes to get his hands dirty in the field. His hands on approach to running the business is strongly focused on delivering the top notch customer service Northern Summit Technology is known for.
Before joining Northern Summit, Clements served as Assistant Vice President and IT Consultant for a bank consulting firm, where he concentrated on penetration and vulnerability testing, helping his clients to establish secure network infrastructures. His bank consulting work, combined with additional experience as Director of IT for an imaging and data center, has provided Clements the opportunity to perform services related to disaster recovery, security, vendor relations, and IT management, and he is knowledgeable in a vast array of hardware and software applications.
Rob is an advocate of many charitable causes locally and nationwide. He currently serves on the board of The March of Dimes, Springfield Little Theatre, and The Ozarks Methodist Manor.
Josh Bates
VP of Service Delivery
Josh Bates is the Vice President of Service Delivery for Northern Summit Technology where he leads research, development and solution design in virtualization, networking, systems, storage, and security.
Bates holds a Bachelor of Science from Missouri State. He has over nine years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining business networks. His experience includes designing and implementing a wide variety of virtualization solutions. Before coming on at Northern Summit Josh worked with PCnet and Bancorp South. With certifications as a VMware Certified Professional and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, he has continued to develop and deploy cutting edge technology solutions.
Josh and his Wife, Christina, have three boys who keep them on the move and there's never a dull moment in their world. Josh is also an active member of his church and an avid Cross Fitter.
